On random searching today I found this amazing Hedgehog Launch 1 game guide.  This thing is written like a full walkthrough, it’s an incredible guide.  It includes permutations and different ways to make your way into space as soon as possible.

Still waiting for a master guide to Hedgehog Launch 2, but this is definitely a helpful guide, even for playing the Hedgehog Launch 2 .

Well, it sure took a while, but the latest game, Hedgehog Launch 2, is out.  It’s new, it’s bigger, and it’s got more to do, and comrades!

Yes, the initial impression is that it’s too easy and I probably agree (expect a v1.1 soon with a bit of difficulty curving, it’s exclusive AG right now so it’s easy to manage) but at the same time anyone who’s not played Hedgehog Launch before still has the same learning curve and takes 20,30, even 40 days to complete the game.  That’s the thing about this game… once you get the jive of HL 1 you can ace it pretty easy.  The difference between a first time versus returning player is a huge challenge.

Anyway, I hope you enjoy it, it was a lot of work.  Go play it here.

To put it in perspective, Hedgehog Launch 1 is 5,000 pixels tall, and Hedgehog Launch 2 is 30,000 pixels tall.  The game got much, much bigger.  Formula hasn’t changed too much but it’s a lot in a little package.  I’ll be doing some cleanup today to get things running smoothly but overall I am pleased.

The store got designed today for Hedgehog Launch 2. While this image is sort of wonky (all the squares got randomized in on/off/inactive for purchase) it’s a rough indication of the new store and some new things to offer.

Had an interesting day, building UI for Joey’s new game.  Will go back to Hedgehog Launch 2 production later.  Ended the day rather abruptly, lots going on.  I’m feeling very, very soar from the long car ride I had this weekend (I drove 950 miles this weekend) and I’m feeling like my body will be permanently stuck in this position.

The E3 announcements were just about the most exciting thing that happened today.  The announcement of Crackdown 2 is an especially important one, and I can’t wait to see and play the games at E3 on Wednesday.  Very, very close to getting to E3 once more!

Going to try to get back in the swing of things.  My body needs some relaxation .
