Four Second Firestorm was a game created years ago when Flash 9 was in beta.  In order to make sure people had Flash 9 the game runs a version checker.

Just like the Y2k bug the Flash file only checks one digit, which at the time worked fine.  Little did I know that when Flash Player 10 came out the file would read the Flash version as 0 (first digit in 10) instead of 10.  Since Flash 0 is obviously less than Flash 9, the file instantly stopped working across the web.

So Houston, we have a problem.

Back in 2006 that file barely worked.  The FLA is so full and loaded with the 175 microgames that it barely runs and opens.  It takes about 10-20 minutes to compile and even the top-of-the-line computers had trouble rendering the file.  The result: John pulling his hair out for three days straight.  Finally we got a build that worked and we went with it, but since then I haven’t been able to get a decent build.

So tomorrow begins the grand adventure of trying to get that file working again.  My apologies for the strange issue and I will shortly be reuploading this file as soon as I can (hopefully) fix it.
