Go back to the American Civil War and perform surgery on 4 different patients. Be careful, using tools of the time and methods common in Civil War surgery.
Making Dark Cut 2 required a mix of Photoshop work, high-resolution photographs, and Flash. The process started with pictures being taken of the part of the body the surgery was going to be on. From there, the subject was photoshopped into a background. Dirt, blood, and anything else was also added. The wounds were then applied, and animated. The animated parts were done frame-by-frame, constantly modifying and editting portions of the screen. Then, the pictures were each individually loaded into Flash, where the actionscript game portion was made.
The production time on this game was long, with 120 hours of work dumped into the artwork alone.
