So many updates held up by Corporation Inc news, I’m catching up in this post!
Hedgehog Launch has made it to the iPhone and iPod Touch! Touched up with a fresh coat of paint the game looks awesome (and it displays really pretty on the iPhone 4 retina screen). The game is free now, but will probably go back to 99 cents. It’s all the fun of the Flash version complete with high scores (through game center), multiple endings, and new music. It’s top 25 in the entire app store for free games as well! Download now!

Currently we’re updating the iPhone version to v1.1 which will fix a few small issues with the launch version.
My next project is still in sketch mode, but it’s looking like an Elephant title for late-December (or early-January by my punctual schedule). Still trying to finalize everything but I’m aiming for longer game that includes a few paths of play. I’ll post more once I get more things ironed out.
And finally, I found a grasshopper in my garden a few nights ago!

Patching things up! Corp Inc rolls to version 1.0.7. with a plethora of fixes (and a few new features to boot!)

Corporation is the most complex game I’ve made, and with that I get to experience the joy of finding and fixing every little bug in the game. So far we’ve managed to find and squash a large majority of them but new and exciting bugs turn up every few days now. People do crazy things with their towers and it’s fun to find new problems and fixes.
While it can be disheartening at times (didn’t I fix this three times now?!) it’s been good fun and everyone has been great sports in sending me reports and recommendations.
Corp Inc has reached half a million plays in just these few short days, one of the fastest flights to a million plays I’ve seen in my games.
As always, if you find anything interesting or have some ideas email me (jmtb02 [at] gmail) and I’ll take a look.
Recent fixes in this version:
- People stuck at desks fixed

As promised, support for bug fixes is coming and has come! First batch of hotfixes are online in Ver 1.0.6 (refresh your browser if you don’t see it).

Issues Fixed:
- Local save bugs fixed

- Misclicking offices resolved
- Bathroom upgrade duplication fixed
- NaN issue resolved in wages/cash
- NaN issue resolved in research
- Desks properly revert from save
- Level not drawing correctly on load resolved
- Pause feature added (Freeze mode)
- Cat reload bug fixed
Issues Still Needing Resolve:
- Complications with skyhook, tubes, and poles for employee movement
- “Cancel Move” feature
- Invisible people
- Decor and other layering issues
Many issues may extend current issues so a lot bank on these things getting fixed. Still more fixes coming! Thanks to everyone sending in their bug reports to jmtb02 [at] gmail.
Anyone want any other features? Recently I added the “Freeze Mode” feature since people really wanted to be able to easily click people when they are moving around.

Corp Inc is out!

I’m dealing with a few glitches on release (always seems to happen
) but overall I am very pleased with the release of this title. It’s my largest game to date… although it was never meant to be this big. It was supposed to be a smaller game with simple graphics and simple office interaction. It really blew up beyond that.
This game took about twice as much code as Frontier. Although the scale is much more finite the game is much more complex, with practically all parts being auto-driven by AI. It’s a bit crazy looking back at what was accomplished.
If you find bugs feel free to email me (jmtb02 [at] gmail). I’m logging all bugs and fixing them as they come in! Thanks to Jimp for his amazing artwork, the game turned out great.

I’m wrapping up Corporation Inc, but for reasons yet to be seen I need the names of your cats (or at least the name of a cat if you were to have one). Good ones are getting put into the game.
Thanks!
