I made a game called Rabbit Wants Cake. It (along with all the other games I’ve been slow to upload here!) will be available here tomorrow. For now its still on Armor Games.
With a little bit of time and energy I whipped up a different concept for a game. Record your actions and then play them back on the game’s stage. Hence, Rabbit wants Cake was born.
There are 25 levels crafted around simple modification of prerecorded player interaction. It’s hard for me to explain, but its sort of like playing a game in the dark, seeing how you did, and then going back and fixing what you messed up. I think you should just play it and see for yourself.
I come up with these silly little game concepts every once in a while. Like TBA or TwoThree I just have this innate feeling like I need to make them and get them worked out.
Enjoy Rabbit Wants Cake

Enjoyed.
This is a great game! I think some of the last levels are a little easy though. (at least in normal mode)

My only complaint was with the victory text at the end of level 21. Because of the music and overall mood of the text congratulating you on your victory, I imagined that it was read in a creepy, almost emotionless voice. As such, the exclamation mark put there showed emotion which I don’t think should’ve been displayed.
But, eh. It’s not that big of a complaint. Very unique concept that was enjoyable.

Haha, finished, it’s a great game.
If not slightly odd… upload it soon, my computer started having issues with armor games today.

I think that this game is a very inventive addition ti your collection of many fun as well as unique games. You are my favorite developer of flash games and I check your site daily to see what you are up to. Keep up the excellent work! (I am particularly interested in that RPG you said you might do; I think that you would take a very popular genre and do something new with it) Oh, by the way… the cake is still a lie.

[...] In this case you have to have a nicely tuned model. One thing that game developers quickly encounter is the need to move your code from say 5 pixels per ENTER_FRAME event to 5 pixels for 20 millseconds. This way your game doesn’t run faster or slower on different computers. When you’ve got your code in this kind of set up you mostly just record input for the controller and pass it on each time the input changes. A really fun example of this is the game Rabbit Wants Cake developed by one of my favorite Flash game developers jmtb02. [...]
