Um, yeah. If you're more involved in the "dance game" genre, FFR is, quite frankly, one of the lowest of the low. Its ease of setup (go to the website and click "play FFR") is one of the few things going for it.

No offense to FFR players out there, but the general quality of the stepcharts has a (rightfully deserved) reputation of being abysmally low, whether it be poor step patterns or annoyingly inaccurate sync data.

The community tends to be a bit obnoxious as well, but honestly, it seems like a curse that every dance game following has some annoying quirks.

I've played this game before. It's alright. Bit hard getting the fingers right, but it's quite fun overall.

Rest in peace, Michael Jackson (sorry to go off topic).

Ugh... FFR may have a large community, but they're pretty elitist, hypocritical, and mean spirited sometimes. One of the best stepfile makers I know was almost universally insulted there for having "low quality" stepfiles, mainly from those who made absolutely terrible ones. I DEFINITELY prefer StepMania. The community is mostly nice, the game has more features, better graphics... better everything, pretty much, plus you can make songs and have as many as your computer can hold. FFR is just more accessible (Because people are too lazy to spend a few minutes installing something of higher quality). On the subject of free online music games, I'm happy to attract attention to Feel the Beats (feelthebeats.com), which is the successor to F2Jam. I moderate it. :P You can submit your own songs, earn badges, comment, rate, etc. and there are plenty of game options to choose from. I think if people got into it and made charts, it would eventually become bigger than FFR.

I never really liked FFR. I'm more into StepMania, FFR doesn't make it happen for me.

In other news, last time I checked my account was there for 3.14 years!
