It’s almost Easter, so it must be that time of the year for PEEPS!
I am personally a pro-Peep person. They are good, but I do think they should be consumed in moderation. It’s way too hard to eat a whole row of Peeps and still have a stable biomass. I am also not a fan of the pink or blue peeps… there’s something extra artificial about the pink-sugarcoated things.
I once put a Peep in the microwave to see what would happen. It was rather boring, and if you were thinking of doing so too it’s not worth your time. The sort of blob up but not to the dramatic effect I expected. I expected exploding peepage.
Each year I look at the wall of Peeps in the supermarket and wonder…. what happens to all those remaining Peeps? It’s not like anyone is going to buy-up these things for discount and eat a whole bunch of them. It’s also not really a stable food substance; you can’t eat these things six months from now. They toughen up after a while. We can only imagine there’s a magic Peep farm where the leftover Peeps go to have Peep children for next year.
Anyway. Do you like Peeps?
Edit: Didn’t know Peeps weren’t an international food. Peeps are marshmallow-shaped chicks coated in yellow sugar. Yes, sugar infused with sugar.
