This weekend Carlie and I visited Dana Point for Valentines Day weekend. We stayed local since it was storming and the rest of the world decided to become expensive as of late. We were planning to visit Santa Barbara, CA but we couldn’t even find a place to stay!
Either way, Dana Point was a great place to grab some good food and just relax. We didn’t do a whole lot due to the storms (we were looking to visit the local missions and museums but most of these places were outside) but we did go see the movie Coraline which I would recommend to anyone who liked Corpse Bride or any other Tim Burton-esque movie. The movie is phenomenal! It’s also showing in 3d which definitely adds a fun depth to the movie.

I really want to see that movie, I’ve read the book, it’s amazing and I also might just recommend it.
