BoMToons and I slaved for months over this Flash game and I hope you enjoy it! It’s available to play now on Armor Games here but you can play it here tomorrow.
The game was a lot of work and I wrote a long article on the Armor Blog, so if you want to learn about the development process visit here. I don’t think I can write this much again
.
Anyway, the scores for this game so far have been less than awesome but I’m okay with that. It’s getting a good amount of play and exposure, but moreso it’s something I’ve wanted to make for most of my game producing life. I’ve loved Super Mario Bros 2 more than any other game ever made so a good tribute to it was always something I had in mind. BoMToons (the artist guy) and I worked hard to even get this thing halfway working so the learning process was probably the most rewarding part of doing a project like this. I’ve never learned more from game development than the problems and production in this game and will hopefully continue to learn from bugs, triumphs, ups and downs.

Best Flash sidescroller since Tage Rampage! Maybe you’ll learn from ups and downs, but I could never turn down those turnips.
I don’t think it would be such a bad idea to maybe incorporate smaller parts of your favorite video games into future Flash games. Learn from the best.

Its awesome!
Although i dont know whether it’s my suckish RAM or not, but i find it a tad too slow. I can live with that though

Personally, I didn’t like it as much as SMB2 (or any of your other games, for that matter). It was still fun, but… this one feels too slow.

Yeah, it was fairly slow, but it was still really good, I prefer your elephant games though
