    Why Would You Cheat Elephant Rave?

    Elephants are so misunderstood.

    A few months ago Kongregate featured Elephant Rave as the weekly challenge (try to beat the game to earn site points and awards).  What was amazing about this feature was that there are hardcore gamers who are too awesome to actually BEAT the game the correct way.

    Now I understand why people cheat.  It brings people to their destination faster.  But I don’t understand why people cheat at Elephant Rave when it only takes about 70-80 seconds to beat.  It clearly takes much longer to cheat the game then it is just to beat it the normal way.  I get why people cheat a game that takes an hour to beat, but a few seconds?

    It’s not a hard game.  You avoid the lasers and understand the elephant.  Pretty funny.

    And totally unrelated, right now I am watching a commercial for the grocery store Stater Brothers.  In the commercial a girl buys a personalized photo cake (a cake with a photo of someone on it).  The photo is of the girl buying the cake.  Why would a girl be picking up a cake with her own picture on it?  I think it’s hilarious.

    I love Friday nights.  Beer is delicious.

    I think the reason people cheat on Kongregate is to get the badges and cards much faster/ easier.

    From experience, it took me like 20-25 tries to beat Elephant Rave(those things that moved across the bottom kept screwing me up), but when you beat it you realize how easy it really is, they probably cheated because they didn’t have the sense to actually try and play the game.

    They’re probably cheating because they think the game’s hard. Honestly, the first couple (or few) times you play it, it does seem rather difficult. They were probably too lazy to try to figure out the pattern of the game, so they cheated. “If you have a difficult task, give it to someone lazy. That person will find an easier way to do it.” Indeed, pathetic.
