    News Updates For Everyone!

    Hi everyone!

    So maybe the news section isn’t so closed. I have had so much going on recently I had to make an update or else face the consequences with a 5 page news post in a couple weeks.

    So this weekend was supposed to be the “big move” over to the server. Sadly, I am not quite done yet, and I forgot my girlfriend is coming in this weekend, so that would be a TERRIBLE way for her to spend the weekend with me. So I am moving it to the following weekend. Stay tuned!

    Second, I just completed the MS Ride from Irvine, CA to San Diego, CA, and I am pretty gosh darn proud of myself! I rode 100 miles with my boss (Dan) from Armor Games and a few of his buddies. We even had Armor Games jerseys special-printed for the ride! Pictures to come, don’t worry! I looked hot (maybe if you like tall-skinny guys in biking jerseys). But the best part of this ride was knowing I was doing it for a good cause. Accomplishing my own goals and supporting a cause for others at the same time is pretty much the most awesome thing on earth.

    Third, Hedgehog Launch made it onto the BBC again, on the show Click Online! They previously featured Ball Revamped a few odd years ago, and I am so excited to see another TV promo! Yippee! Thanks to the keen-eyed forum members for this one!

    And finally, Dark Cut 3. Totally in production right now. Stay tuned. Lots of surgeries.

    Dark Cut 3 needs badges on Kongregate. I'm not sure but when I asked for BR badges they said something about the API not being implemented properly or something like that. So… could you implement the API properly so Dark Cut 3 can have badges? What with all the achievements you're putting in your games nowadays, they'd make really good badges. So THAT'S why there were a bunch of posts in the live updates about bike riding! How long did it take you to ride 100 miles? If you guys feel that my post is too long, then yours are probably just too short.

    I think Dark Cut 3 MUST'T BE ONLY in Kongregate. If it will be in Kongregate we couldn't download this game. In Kongregate games protected WERY, WERY good! So, it must be on JMTB02 site and in Armor Games and optionally in Kongregate. And about Hedgehog Launch: what means 11294? And why I must it remember?

    GOD, I have no time to myself anymore. I'm surprised i've found time to make this comment. Several things happened over the week- 1. I made a flash animation for school, which took a long time 2. I've been self-teaching myself flash 3. I fully designed my Sonic fancharacter, Revalance, and… 4. I got Sonic Gems Collection AND Sonic Mega Collection. Estimated number of hours wasted on classic sonic games- 71. SGC has Sonic CD on it, which is not only my favorite sonic game, but it's theme song is Sonic Boom- My favorite song in the series.

    ER – BLEH, Flash CS(whatever) only serves to complicate things. I myself tried it, and it had many glitches, as well as getting it free ONLY for 30 days. Adobe went completely down on that. He probably has Macromedia Flash or FlashDevelop. If he has Adobe Flash, I'm just pwning myself. BTW, since when games like Super Mario Galaxy suck?!?!

    ActionScript is the programming language in Flash. Flash 8 uses AS2. AS3 is the newest version only available with CS3 or newer (if you are using Fl player 8 and can't run a flash application it's because it's programmed in AS3).

    I have Flash 8 that uses AS3. I can run, make, test, and debug the animations. Flash 8 can use AS3. The more recent versions of Flash 8 use AS3. I know all of this, and this is coming from an ametur animator. :laughing:

    I've known that. But I couldn't find FD so I settled for Flash 8, which, though it is FBF, I am getting to love. Flash deveolpment is like a big rock. It's easy to know about, hard to get, hard to crack, but satisfying once you crack it. Kisler, you can put that in your quotes.
