Hi gang,Yes, I got all excited after the sugar rush I had to launch a new game yesterday, didn’t quite get it done! I am going to work on it to get it polished up for a Friday/Monday release. The game is sort of like a Western-1980′s retro-Ball Revamped style – what the heck was he thinking game. And yes, there are guns in the game. One of the very few games I have ever made that have actual guns. And no, you won’t be shooting people.I have been trying to hold off on writing any more news posts. I may be switching over the WordPress momentarily (what we use on the Armor Blog) which is much more powerful. I plan on switching over to a new website design soon that will be updated daily (the news section will become a daily blog/news section so I have a place to put down my thoughts) and overall the site will be transitioning from game site to personal site. If you roll back through the previous site designs throughout the years I sort of strayed too far from it being my personal site and more just my “oh hey here’s a game I made” site.I LOVE writing about video games, silliness, and awesomeness and I want to return to that so the site always has fresh content.So yeah, as always there’s a lot coming up.*RPG – Yes it’s still happening. 75% done.*Collab with BoMToons – Yes it’s still happening. 60% done.*Western-shooting-game – Need to make all the levels. 75% done.*Giraffe Rave – Don’t Ask. 20% done.*Red Part 2 – Really need to get this going. – 20% done.*Dark Cut 3 – Prelim – 2% done.*Ball Revamped ________ – Oh I have said too much.-J

…it’s my birthday. What better way to celebrate than with a surprise game release?Oh ho! Never knew it was coming huh?Okay I better go make a game, brb.

It’s been a busy few weeks. And I’m tired. Dead tired.I only realized just how tired I was after the realization that I haven’t even launched my new game “Sixty” on my own website. I make it a case-in-point to launch my new games all in a couple days across all my favourite sites, and usually I am pretty excited about doing this. But haven’t even gotten it over to my own site or any other sites beyond Armor or NG just because there hasn’t been enough time.It all started when I got back from Seattle last week after a whirlwind trip up there to visit the sights and get some business on. I got really sick from the plane ride home (planes are a cesspool of germs), so things have been slightly slowed down and strained. After Seattle we had guests fly in from Europe to visit as well.After our Euro friends visited work was busy. Armor Games is expanding to reach other platforms (we just launched our first iPhone game!) and reaching new sites and goals so we’ve been busy working on new games and other features for our site. Summer always seems to be extra busy, and now that I am getting excited about moving on beyond Flash I have more on my mind than usual.Every night when I get home I pack boxes upon boxes of things since I am moving. And even then it seems to get progressively heavier as time moves on. Even now I feel like stuffing my socks into a box feels heavy. I moved my 20 gallon fish tank over a few nights ago and that just about killed me… a 20 gallon fish tank weighs 300+ pounds and even when things are separated into buckets and separate containers it’s not so easy to move things. My muscles are incredibly sore right now from all the moving thus far.Sixty launched last week, so that was a clear victory but with it came extra work. This weekend I flew out for a wedding reception Saturday and felt somewhat sick on Sunday again. I flew back on Sunday moved more when I got back.So now it’s Monday and work is back on, and tomorrow I am moving full-on into my new place… moving truck and all. Several more boxes and furniture need to be moved and put into their proper places. That and there have been several long-term goals that are on my mind. I have that lovely RPG I need to finish, and about 3-4 other projects that are sitting waiting for some love. And even beyond that I have 2-4 other game concepts lined up waiting for John to ease up his internal CPU.And while I am continuing with the computer metaphors, I just need to go into sleep mode a bit. I am running on about 5-6 hours a sleep a night, and life is just far too busy as of late. My eating schedule is off and my sleep habits are dwindling.Long story short… I’m hurting right now. But everything should be back to normal by next week. It’s like when you shake the snow globe and everything inside the globe is flying around… you just have to wait for everything to settle.
