Another Christmas is upon us, so happy holidays! I hope everyone has a good holiday and makes it home safe when traveling home. I am still waking up, getting ready to open presents, so I’ll make this one short… but Happy Holidays!

FreeGamesNews is hosting a Developer of the Year award for casual gaming, and I managed to make it into the best “Action/Platform/Skill” category! FreeGamesNews is a wonderful gaming/blog/review site, that originally interviewed me back in it’s earlier life.I am actually really pleased that FreeGamesNews is honoring the developers themselves this year. Definitely a twist to the usual “Best game of the year” awards that surface around this time.So anyway, I would love your votes and would love you to vote on the other categories while you are there! Vote button is at the bottom of the page on the following link.VOTE HERE!

I am getting really excited about this Mr Walter’s Grand Excursion game. So much, in fact, that I have record a YouTube video of the finished rope-physics engine! The game, as you can see, is extremely fast-paced (and a lot of fun, I might add). There is no speed cap on the game, so you can go as fast as you want within the limits of Flash physics. There is no on-screen elements yet such as collectible carrots or goal fragments, but it will all come soon enough.A description of the gameplay will be around soon, but first, a glimpse into the finished rope engine (and some of the level art too!). I apologize for the Danger Zone, though…. didn’t have much choice on this computer for music!

    * Did you know that a Gamma Distribution is a continuous random variable with a probability density function of f(x; alpha, beta) =( i/(beta^alpha x Gamma function(alpha)) ) * x ^(alpha -1) * e^(-x/beta) only if x >= 0, other wise 0?* Expect Mr. Walters Grand Excursion some time next week :) . The artwork is starting to be put in!* Expect this website to have all it’s new features January First! Returning finally are the archives, a robust xhtml/php platform, and plenty of tidbits of fixes (including getting rid of the pesky Flash navigation!).* Expect a new secret project brewing in the next few months. Bug Tastylamp, he’s working on it with me :D .* What do you want for Christmas?

Well, it finally happened. Squishy balls of a Ball Revamped proportion have been made! They will be sold in the Armor Games store shortly after the new Armor Games site goes live. Good thing too, because I have no way of really selling them here on this site.2.2″ in diameter, and squishy to the extreme, these things are just about the most awesome thing I think I have ever seen. What’s amazing is that I can squish them while playing Ball Revamped, because that game can stress me out.Wow, so four years ago I didn’t even have a website, now I have my own toy… things have definitely been moving quickly!
