As a continuing series, we look at the newest features for the upcoming Ball Revamped 5 game!Ball Revamped 5 works a bit different than its counterparts. Instead of being “Power up A does this to Ball”, the power ups have become formulaic. In other words, in Ball Revamped 5 you will be combining power ups to make new ones! For example, adding the Grow Power Up with the Water Power Up will cause the mud power up, which will drag your ball speed down.Because of this, the game can be a bit experimental. You’ll have to figure what adding one, two, or even three power ups together to figure out what happens! Some of these will be incredibly helpful power ups, and others will be extremely difficult to work with. The power up featured above is Firestorm. I’ll let you figure out how to get that power up.The game is going very well, expect more news very soon!-John

xAnd neither was Ball Revamped 5.Believe me, I’ve been working my butt off on this project. I hate to go emo for a few moments, but I have received a lot of complaints about the game not being released yet and it’s somewhat discouraging. I hope that everyone realizes that I am trying my best to continue working on Ball Revamped 5, pushing my workload to nearly 12 hours a day on the project. In addition, there are 3 contributors to this project, who are working just as hard to provide an amazing Ball Revamped game. FikreesProjects has been cooking up great sound loops for this project constantly, hitting me with music loops at 1 am in the morning. Tastylamp has been working on the level editor for months now, making sure its ready to go for release. The design of this game has been in production for nearly a year, with actual game production and design starting months ago.The game was not an instant synthesis. When I started on this project, I got to level 20 and realized that I did not like how it was going, and started again. It’s difficult capturing the essence of Ball Revamped and then putting it into a whole new scenario.Everything is new in this game. No recycled material. This morning I woke up to three emails all complaining that I made promises I could not keep. I have to disagree. I have made a handful of deadlines for myself that are now months behind, and have taken my work time away from smaller projects to focus completely on this one. I have done nothing but work my schedule around this game.So now I beg that people have patience. I know a few of you are excited about the game release coming up, and so am I. But once you see the work that went into the game, I hope you’ll agree with me that it was worth the wait. The power ups, the level design, and the feel is completely Ball Revamped yet so original for me. I can’t be anymore proud of what’s about to release soon, and I promise I’ll drop a deadline clock on the site once we are good to go.Thanks for understanding, and go check out the teaser trailer below.-John
