5 ’til is the newest of the jmtb02 line of Flash Games!Inside a base lies a bioterrorist explosive, waiting to explode on the city. Run like hell to the source, disarm, and save the city! In the process there are 10 minigames to perform to get through. This game took about a week to complete, after concepts, designs, and planning. I worked my ass in overtime to get it done, working about 8 hours a day instead of the usual few hours a day. It’s my first bite at full time in the Flash World, and to tell the truth, I love it.Funny story though. I was planning on calling it 20 ’til, but that game would take forever to make. So I tuned down the game to be called 10 ’til, but realized the minigames are so much more fun with 30 seconds instead of 1 minute per game, so the minigame lengths got hacked down to 5 ’til. The game is very simple, the instructions are laid out, and the game is all around fun. Nonetheless, the game poses quite a challenge. I wouldn’t expect everyone to pass in flying colors. There are both puzzle, action, and strategy minigames in this game, meaning that you’ll have to use all your skills to get through the challenges. Mazes, avoiders, shoot ‘em ups, Dark Cut-style games, you name it. It tries to grab the entire spectrum of gaming. This game will also tag your performance, like seen in Scribble 2!, Knights of Rock, and Scribble. You’ll receive a banner for your completion of the game. And as a nice touch to the series, you can’t lose unless you give up. If you mess up a minigame, don’t worry, its not the end of the world. You’ll start back at 30 seconds and you can attempt the game again. A lot of people like this feature from the Ball Revamped series, so I decided to port it here.Enough talk.Go Play 5 ‘Til!!!Edit:Launched on Newgrounds, go vote for it!

First, a plug. Kongregate.com has given awards out for Dark Cut in the past, but has recently awarded prizes for Four Second Frenzy, Ball Revamped 4, and some other games. Thanks Kongregate! Kongregate is a site where you can upload your games and play other people’s games, all in a fun, small community. Vote on submissions and support the Flash community, it doesn’t cost money either (yeah!). So head over to Kongregate, sign up, and vote on some games. Kongregate.comSecondly, some site news. Ellipsis got Dugg by Digg.com the other day, and the site took a bit of a beating but survived the wave. Thanks Digg for the traffic, much appreciated. Also, jmtb02 Studios is getting ready to roll out a new website to join Flashwiki.net and jmtb02.com. Exciting!Knights of Rock, although not my most popular game of all time, has made a good splash on the web. Being featured on several websites, including Newgrounds and Hall Pass, the game did quite well for being so zany and ridiculous in nature. Cheers to the support!Ball Revamped has been falling behind in production. I’ve had a sudden rush of creativity I don’t feel like shelving, and will be focusing more on those new games then the sequel for now. I know I’ll put my heart and soul into Ball Revamped 5 and roll that out when it’s ready. But for now, I have about 2-3 games lined up that are going to be fun and exciting. I know this will be disappointing for many, but I feel like Ball Revamped is always THAT project that I need to do right and not rush to get done. I am not going to announce any release dates yet, but we are looking at most around 4-5 months pushed back (at most!). You know how I am with deadlines… blah.So coming up, a game I have deemed 5’til. The game revolves around the infiltration of an evil organization, and requires several 30 second minigames to get there. 30 Second Frenzy so to speak. it’s a lot of fun for me, I think you’ll enjoy it.
